Are you ready to team up with friends and proof the community your team is the best? We are organizing a team poker challenge that promises to be fun and entertaining.
Each team must be made up of 3 members, and the buy in will be €55 per player.
Team Poker Challenge : General Rules
• Registration will open on Monday 30th January and will close on Friday 10th February
• Late registration is not accepted
• Teams need to register by filling in the registration form (supplied by poker supervisors) together with the full buy in of €165 per team.
• Team Leaders will have to be on the premises an hour before the tournament starts, as to participate in the “seat extraction”
• Starting stack will be announced at the “seat extraction”. If the team leader is not present at that time, the stack will be divided equally between team players.
• Chip Dumps and seat changes will be announced by the team leader before the break.
• Chip Dumps must be done by the tournament director.
• Once a player loses all the stack, he/she is out of the tournament. Chip dumps cannot bring a player back from the rail, with the exception of the final table.
• Only during the final table, players are allowed to discuss their hand with their team mates.
SEAT SWAP:
You can change seat with a team mate, this can only occur during a break and with management notified.
They change only seat, the chips remain in their position.
CHIP DUMPS:
Management perform the chip dumps during the break, that is the only time it’s possible to chip dump.
They have the option to strategically make one chip dump per team.
A maximum of 25% can be transferred from their whole chip count.
FINAL TABLE:
Once it’s time for final table, there can only be one player from each team playing. The others must sit at the rail and watch. That player will play with all the teams’ chips. If two/three players from the same team are still in the tourney, their chips will be added together and only one of them will play.
When the final table starts, all team members are now in the game even though only one can play. They can do seat swaps every break.
During the final table players can ask for a time out. They can move away from the table to discuss their hand with their team mates and their hand will still be live. However before they do so they need to ask the TD for a time out (one minute will be given to them). If they still haven`t returned after the 1 min passes their hand is then dead.
